We are currently looking for a Java Developer to join our FEMA-IA project. In this hands-on position, you will work collaboratively with teams using a DevOps approach to architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real time systems. You will participate in projects through all aspects of the software development life cycle including to include estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing. This position is located in Winchester, VA, 3 days of the week will be in the office and 2 days remotely. Responsibilities: Work with internal and external teams, and independently to gain understanding of the current applications Interface with customer and external teams to explain application functionality and behavior as needed Address issues that are reported internally or externally, specifically production or security issues Make updates to the applications based on needs outlined in the agile sprint requirements Analyze current documentation and make improvements as necessary Requirements: US Citizen and able to obtain Public Trust BS degree in Computer Science or related field 5+ years of experience of IT experience 3+ years of work experience with: Java, JavaScript, Spring/Spring Boot, Ant or Maven, Microservices 2+ years exp. React or Angular, CI/CD pipeline, Jira Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Requirements: Designing, developing, testing and deploying software in AWS environments Familiarity with Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins Proficiency with Agile management tools ie Atlassian suite Trillion is an equal opportunity employer.
