Hardware Engineers - RF and Microwave Systems (R0001407)

JOB DUTIES: Perform RF (Radio Frequency) hardware integration. Develop RF test environments for satellite communications in the lab and conduct lab measurements. Implement and maintain improvements to RF and microwave systems and hardware. Perform design verification and testing for Hughes' next generation Transmit/Receive boards using Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes and Signal Generators. Automate RF tests using LabView.

REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field plus 6 months' experience in Hardware Engineering, OR Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field plus 5 years' experience in Hardware Engineering. Experience must include 6 months' with each of the following: RF Systems; Microwave Systems; Spectrum Analyzers; Network Analyzers; Oscilloscopes; Signal Generators; and, LabView.
