Duties

Summary

Performs a variety of simple, routine duties in a recreation or recreational sports program under close supervision. Typical duties may include setting up equipment such as soccer nets, game boards, or accessories such as bats, balls, or racquets; marking fields with flags or chalk lines; or assisting with participant check-in/registration.

  • Prepares sports and other recreational areas for games or events.
  • May serve as a scorekeeper, game monitor, clock operator, or helper to coaches or recreation leaders.
  • Performs other closely-related duties as assigned.

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
  • Eligible applicants will be invited to and must attend one of the two (2) scheduled mandatory interview sessions located at 5850 Langfitt Loop, Bldg. 1003, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060 on 4-Nov-2019 and 5-Nov-2019, starting 10:00am until 2:00pm.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
  • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty
  • May require light physical effort.
  • Involves working indoors and outdoors.
  • Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-16k.
  • A one year probationary period may be required
