This position is located in the Assistant Commissioner Area, Revenue Collections Management which is a key part of the US Treasury Department's Bureau of the Fiscal Service. Revenue Collections Management is responsible for overseeing government-wide revenue collections, managing the Government's depositary banking relationships, promulgating Federal cash management policies, and building government-wideA' e-commerce systems.Principal Responsibilities:Provide advice and guidance to Revenue Collections Management program areas to build, maintain, enhance and operate collection channels, gateways, and programs.Work with Federal agency customers to establish and improve working relationships and provide guidance, resolve problems, and perform duties associated with a central service provider.Develop strategies and plans for the adoption of and conversion to Treasury revenue collection and deposit reporting systems and programs to achieve the furtherance of converting paper collections to electronic throughout the government.Formulate policies, plans, processes, and procedures for managing and continually improving the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting, financial, or revenue collection channels and gateways.The selectee will play an important role in helping to transform financial management, promote efficiency, and deliver exceptional revenue collection services for the federal government and the public.Desired Experience:Managing information technology projects.Developing strategies to carry out day-to-day operations of developing, executing, monitoring and promoting a program.Experience assessing the degree to which program goals are met and developing findings and reports that identify program problems and required corrective action.Revenue Collections Management Values:Metric-based performance A cents € " conduct business based on clear metrics and standards.
