As the premier trade association for broadcasters, NAB advances the interests of our members in federal government, industry and public affairs; improves the quality and profitability of broadcasting; encourages content and technology innovation; and spotlights the important and unique ways stations serve their communities.The Assistant General Counsel role is responsible for helping to develop strategy to help execute on NABA cents € (TM) s legal and policy positions. This individual will research, review, and analyze traditional legal resources including statutes, regulations and caselaw, as well as non-traditional materials such as industry-specific publications, economic papers and engineering data, and draft memorandum, comments in regulatory proceedings, and legal briefs. The Assistant General Counsel with analyze legislation, prepare and review advocacy materials, plan and participate in industry events and programs, and address NAB member inquiries about legal issues.Work for usWe are seeking a talented attorney with experience in one or more of the following areas: Broadcast, wireless, satellite, cable, emerging technologies, intellectual property, and/or litigation. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and demonstrated legal writing and research skills.
