We are looking for aConstruction Administrator who is a self-motivator with an ability to succeed in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, strong analytical and writing abilities. The Construction Administrator observes construction for conformity to construction drawings and specifications. The Construction Administrator responsibilities include conducting site observation, resolving contractor issues through coordination with in-house multi-discipline production staff, and assisting the ownerA cents € (TM) s construction administration manager and senior construction administrator. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Ensure construction conforms to construction documents Support the design intent Lessen project risks Identify and resolve construction problems early Supplement the clientA cents € (TM) s construction knowledge Establish lines of communication Shop drawing Review Respond to contractorA cents € (TM) s requests for information Track changes in construction documents Review contractorA cents € (TM) s requests for payment Review shop drawings and product information Prepare field reports and records Collaborate with project teams to ensure budgeting for specification production, and coordinate scheduling and production of project manuals. Function as a technical resource for material and product evaluations and selections. Maintain proficiency in construction products, techniques and sequences by staying up-to-date of product developments, new materials, code changes, and current industry trends. Supervise completion and closeout EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelors Degree in Architecture Engineering or equivalent experience Proficiency in software: AutoCAD, REVIT a plus Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction administration or related field Experience with residential midrise and highrise building type Travel is required for this position, roughly 30-40%
