Job Summary/Company:

  • Prepare hard copies for scanning of all levels of complexity, to include but not limited to: pulling staples, unfolding bent edges or corners, tearing or cutting apart forms, and securing small items and repairing documents with tears or bad edges, bound documents.
  • Insert separator sheets in between documents.
  • Maintain a prep log for start and finish times.
  • Image hard copy documents using various production scanners.
  • Interface with scanning software and proprietary information capture and processing software.
  • Ensure a high level of quality is maintained. Identify scan errors as they happen and correct any image quality errors immediately.
Quality Control (Image Review):
  • Review digital images for scan/indexing errors.
  • Compare hard copy documents to digital images.
  • Identify images for rescan per project requirements.
  • Classification of different document types.
Index (Data Review):
  • Indexing of required metadata/fields for proper document identification.
  • Evaluate and accurately enter required indexing information.

Additional Functions:
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment. Properly clean scanner daily.
  • Perform microfilm, microfiche prep, repair, scan and indexing.
  • Interact with multiple technology platforms, computer and mobile applications.
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements (Education, Experience):
  • A High School Diploma or GED required
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • 41 WPM
  • 6000 KSPH
