Candidate does not need to be a SME in the risk, rather experienced in managing the editing process when working with procedure owners. The role could use more experience in Operational Risk or Enterprise Risk management and more experience in drafting policies/procedures. Drafting Firm Policies and Procedures on Operational Risk - drafting, reviewing and updating the Firm's Enterprise Risk Management Framework policies and related procedures for ORD across the Firm globally and also for the Firm's legal entities and branches. Provide input and execute policies and procedures for certain regulations across Americas/Europe/Asia business activities and globally (ie, monitoring regulations and business changes). Operational Risk spans the spectrum of risks, and may impact any of Company's business activities. The candidate will be in the Operational Risk Department ("ORD") within the Policies, Procedures and Training team. Needs: - Excellent writer with attention to detail - candidate must have a firm understanding of writing styles and excellent writing skills, especially in regards to grammar and punctuation. Must be able to work under strict deadlines to ensure content is correct and finalized before publication. - Bachelor's degree, as well as 4 years of relevant experience, typically required. Degree in English, Communications, or Journalism may be preferred - Financial Services experience may be preferred - Operational Risk or Enterprise Risk experience may be preferred - Policy/procedures/training experience may be preferred - Legal experience may be preferred i. Drafting Firm Policies and Procedures on Operational Risk - drafting, reviewing and updating the Firm's Enterprise Risk Management Framework policies and related procedures for ORD across the Firm globally and also for the Firm's legal entities and branches. Provide input and execute policies and procedures for certain regulations across Americas/Europe/Asia business activities and globally (ie, monitoring regulations and business changes). ii. Status Monitoring - assist in developing, executing, tracking and documenting progress of annual policy and procedure review process, ensuring appropriate records of changes, corporate reviews and approvals. Assist in improving efficiencies for policy and procedure reviews. iii. Corporate Review Processes - work with Firm executives on content review, incorporating applicable regulations and business processes to ensure that procedures are correctly stated, including conducting due diligence (research and fact-checking) iv. Relationship Building, Advice and Guidance - form cohesive and collaborative relationships with stakeholders within ORD, which may include the Banks or regional legal entities, and provide insight on assignments, as required. v.
