RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client in search of an Accounting Manager in Manassas, Virginia (VA). Summary: Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager who will be responsible for maintaining balance sheet accounts, reviewing business related policies and procedures, preparing monthly journal entries, supporting monthly bank reconciliations, and providing support to electronic and paper filing systems and storage of business data. REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but equivalent years of experience can be substituted A minimum of seven years in cost accounting functions is preferred Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills with high skill functioning level of Excel Strong Costpoint and other accounting software skills are required Experience with federal government contractor accounting is highly preferred Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
