Senior Analyst Business Development (M&A)
RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce's client in Arlington, Virginia (VA) is seeking a Senior Analyst for Business Development (M&A). Summary: The Senior Analyst will be reporting into the Senior Vice President of Business Development. This position will be part of the Business Development team who are collectively responsible for identifying, evaluating, pursuing and executing acquisitions, divestitures and strategic real estate investments and development. This individual will be an experienced financial analyst or business development associate with strong financial, analytical and transaction related skills. Essential duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to): Provide analytical support and detailed reporting from inception through implementation across a wide range of projects Evaluate potential new investment prospects and business opportunities, including M&A and growth investments Lead construction of detailed financial models including the development of long-term operational projections and an optimized capital structure Prepare materials for use in Capital Committee and Board meetings, and assist in presenting opportunities to senior management for consideration Draft proposal and transaction documents to include term sheets and letters of intent Participate in negotiations with vendors, investors, and other counterparties, and support the management of ongoing relationships Demonstrate a strong appreciation of customer service principles and a service philosophy Foster and maintain professional work relationships with operational leaders and co-workers REQUIREMENTS: Degree in Business Administration or related field (Economics, Finance or Real Estate) 3-5 years of experience Must have experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory or corporate development within or on behalf of aviation services, transportation, real estate or other similar industry Fixed Base Operations (FBO) industry experience is a plus, although not essential Prior experience must include reviewing, structuring, and executing principal equity investments Proven track record performing financial analysis and modeling, as well as acquisition due diligence Experience playing an active role in monitoring and reporting on project performance and financial outcomes (current and realized) will be a significant advantage An aptitude for strategic planning and project management Strong oral, numerical and written communication skills with an ability to adapt to different audiences Able and willing to travel Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
