A nationally recognized hospital in the greater Baltimore/DC area is currently looking for an experienced NICU Nurse for an overnight Assistant Nurse Manager to oversee all operations and administrative functions during the night shift. This 300+ bed non-profit, teaching hospital is part of a midsize health care system with multiple acute care hospitals and a large network of specialist and primary care networks. The NICU Assistant Nurse Manager will oversee a Level III NICU. The NICU Assistant Nurse Manager will be responsible for helping with hiring and counseling of clinical staff, scheduling and staffing, acting as a resource to both staff and families and working to develop and implement initiatives to improve and maintain patient quality and safety. The NICU Assistant Nurse Manager will work in conjunction with one other ANM who runs the day shift. Together, these two leaders will ensure this unit runs smoothly and efficiently.
