RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client seeking a Acquisitions Associate in Rockville, Maryland (MD). Essential Duties: Manage all areas of acquisitions underwriting, valuation, due diligence and closing for all new investments Work with VP of Acquisitions to structure transactions and negotiate deal terms and legal documents Leverage and coordinate the firm's leasing, asset management, development, and legal teams, as needed, to effectively underwrite and close acquisitions and dispositions Perform valuation of target acquisitions, new developments and existing portfolio assets Review financial and legal agreements and other documents associated with potential investments to understand and quantify the economic impacts on valuation and projected investment returns REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, and/or accounting 3 to 5 years of retail shopping center acquisition experience Demonstrated thorough understanding of the drivers of property value in the shopping center business and the financial analysis of income-producing commercial real estate, including discounted cash flow analysis using Argus and MS Excel Demonstrated thorough understanding of retail property leases (both financial and non-financial terms) and transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
