The Italian Place Manager Trainee The Italian Place in Old Town, Alexandria is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Manager-Trainee. As the Manager Trainee you will be expected to perform the following: Oversee and manage store operations including open and close Manage multiple staff while they prepare fresh meals in a timely manner Assist with store operations and guest management both front and back of the house creating meals, sandwiches, catering, stocking, ordering, maintain an appealing retail environment Understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards at all times Local business outreach Operate a POS (point of sale) system; manage cash and credit transactions Maintain a professional appearance at all times Perform paperwork and other duties as assigned by Management Qualifications: Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner from the beginning to the end of our Guest's store experience Restaurant/retail: 1 year (Preferred) Demonstrated customer service/experience REQUIRED Store Management, Barista, ServSafe & Social Media experience a PLUS Enjoy working with the public, partners and business clients Educational background Benefits: Workplace Discounts, Flexible Schedules, Employee Bonus Programs Job Types: Both part-time and full-time opportunities available Work Location: Old Town Alexandria Annual salary compensation with healthcare opportunities and paid time off, commensurate with experience.
