Find your future with us. Position Overview: Advanced Mission Solutions is seeking a Chief Engineer to provide system engineering oversight within an Integrated Product Team (IPT). Experience identifying and establishing and an appropriate work tracking system and process improvement processes as it relates to engineering metrics. Lead efforts to define concepts and systems engineering solutions to customer requirements to advanced communication, signal processing systems and other proprietary systems. Looking for candidates with experience in either one the following areas: Analysis Development Modeling Requirements and/or System Architecture Position Responsibilities: Must possess good communication skills, both oral and written; technical leadership skills are required. Experience in leading and conducting mathematical analysis, modeling and simulation efforts to support product development is desired; prior systems engineering experience is required. Experience in working with customers to develop technical roadmaps and business strategies is desired. The ability to work across a broad spectrum of disciplines including optics, RF engineering, communications and satellite design/operation at a technical level sufficient to translate customer needs into clear, actionable requirements and interface specifications. Travel may be required. Work Authorization: This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph security clearance, which is also contingent on clearance verification and customer concurrence. This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph US Security Clearance. (A US Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): TS/SCI w/ CI Poly, Engineering Background Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Mustang Program experience EVMS MS Office MS Project DOORS JIRA Typical Education/Experience:Will come from the SJC Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (eg Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (eg PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
