The Position: The Headfirst Companies Product Marketing Manager will work as a full-time corporate employee in the Washington, DC headquarters office of The Headfirst Companies. This Manager's responsibilities span all aspects of multiple business units (Summer Camps, Professional Camps & Honor Roll Showcase) including, but not limited to, strategic marketing planning and execution, campaign development and implementation, P&L management, customer experience focus, on-site operations, and sales and business development initiatives. Our Product Marketing Manager must possess exceptional marketing knowledge, strong customer service skills and be able to communicate both on a proactive and reactive basis with camp families, potential customers, and third-party affiliates. In addition, the Manager must be a proactive and creative problem solver with a proven track record of marketing campaign success. With a preferred athletic and youth experience passion and/or background and emotional intelligence to guarantee market credibility, the candidate must possess the business acumen and attention to detail to execute against high standards to ensure continued operational excellence. What You'll Do: Marketing & Customer Communications: Develop & execute supportive marketing initiatives to meet the annual revenue & marketing budgeted expectation including budgeting responsibilities, calendar development & reporting. Support & execute various marketing channels including email, digital marketing, outbound phone campaigns, webinars, and mailings. Manage a team that is responsible for the divisional marketing and customer experience execution. Manage the marketing communications and message plan to meet revenue expectations Create and execute against a budget, operating plan, and all program expenditures to ensure financial goals are met Manage and oversee the ongoing website turnover and edits through both internal resources and external contractors. Database & Acquisition Management: Support the daily enrollment process for multiple divisions and develop a thorough understanding of all internal systems used to track and engage with customers. Track customer data and requests through our customer systems. Develop a proficiency in and understanding of the customer base to provide the highest level of customer service while also contributing to growth initiatives. Identify and create new opportunities to grow the database of potential customers. Manage a large customer database to best identify potential customers to provide highly-tailored marketing initiatives. Operations: Assist with on-site operational leaders of multiple divisional executions of camp experiences. Maintain and develop relationships with vendors for on-site activities. Help drive the brand for onsite programs. Assess program strengths, identify improvement areas, and develop related recommendations, including sport-specific growth opportunities. The Requirements: Bachelor's degree with an additional degree in business, marketing, management, or operations viewed favorably. 4 to 6 years of professional experiences preferable in marketing/sales. Management Experience Required Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experiential product marketing experience viewed favorably. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be extremely comfortable interacting on the phone and in-person with customers and coaches. Demonstrated experience managing, implementing, and executing challenging operational details.
