GDIT's Military Health Solutions is HIRING and Project Manager to support Life Sciences & Medical Research contracts/ programs with a specific focus on vaccine research. Position is located in Frederick, MD. The ideal candidate will need to have effective management, administrative, organizational, proposal/ technical writing skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in order to successfully support the responsibilities outlined below: https://www.gdit.com/industries/#health \' target=\'_blank\' rel=\'noopener\'> https://www.gdit.com/industries/#health Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned project. Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned project or tasks, including contract and subcontractor management. Supervises assigned staff, including subordinate supervisors. Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, and reports, in the area of military health and medical research and development. May also perform high level technical services on assigned tasks. Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload. Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison. Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client. Participates as a hiring manager for positions within assigned contracts. Coordinates development of deliverables and products. Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned. Participates in special projects as required. Supervises at least 15 employees. Bachelors Degree in a related business or technical scientific discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience. 5+ years of related experience, including supervisory experience. Experience working in a vaccine research environment required. Professional certification (PMP) preferred.
