DevOps Engineer - AWS Location: Herndon, VA Disys is looking for a few strong DevOps Engineers to join our client's talented team to work with enterprise level organizations on some of the world's largest automation and cloud deployment projects and get to work with the coolest technologies throughout the process! We enjoy learning from each other and our clients, and our spirit of collaboration permeates everything we do Experience At least 2 years of experience in AWS migration, DevOps, or administration At least 2 years of experience with cloud automation and scripting At least 2 years of experience creating deployment scripts (eg, Chef) Must Have Qualifications: US Citizen Security+ or equivalent certification Experience building infrastructure in AWS as code. Familiarity with tools such as Terraform. Working knowledge of Configuration Management (Chef preferred, Puppet or Ansible) and Continuous Integration Tools (Jenkins preferred) Good working knowledge of AWS Services including Compute, Storage, Networking, Database, Management tools, Security, Identity and Compliance Experience implementing and debugging workloads in AWS Working knowledge of Cloud Formation templates Experience with Cloud Portal, PowerShell, or CLI on AWS Experience automating deployment processes Proven written and verbal communication skills working directly with customers and translating their business needs to technical requirements for implementation. Good understanding of some of the following: Cloud Monitoring tools (Nagios, Cacti, CloudWatch, Gnaglia, etc.) Docker NoSQL database (DynamoDB, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.) Other Open Source tools Desired Qualifications: Active Secret clearance AWS Developer Certification Bachelor's degree in computer science or related Knowledge of Linux OS and Windows OS Experience designing, deploying, and administering Windows and Linux based systems We are an equal opportunity employer.
