Position Summary Develop large-scale web applications that delivers deep-learning video analytics to customers. Role and Responsibilities Develop web applications in Python/Django Design user interfaces and workflows that are intuitive and attractive Write front-end user interfaces HTML/CSS/JavaScript Design and implement new features in a production, multi-tenant Django web application Deploy new software upgrades on Amazon Web Services via automated Continuous Integration using Docker Orchestrate software deployment for staging/production that minimizes downtime Mentor other developers Implement monitoring and alerting to ensure performance and uptime Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS, MIS or a related technical field or equivalent work experience 5+ years of software development experience 2+ years experience with Amazon Web Services Advanced knowledge of Python and Django Prior experience using Git/Github, preferably contributing to open-source projects Strong experience with Linux Competent with JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, and CSS Experience with Docker Authorized to work in the US without employment visa sponsorship Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities C++ Experience is a plus Prior experience working with data science, machine learning, or computer vision Additional Notes Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
