MedStar Radiology Network, a large outpatient medical imaging facility with multiple locations in Maryland and Washington, DC, is seeking an experienced Center Operations Manager in Washington, DC to lead and direct imaging center staff. The candidate must possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate previous leadership experience. This full-time position will report directly to Director of Center Operations with oversight of multiple departments, including administrative. Must have experience and knowledge of clinical and/or support service operations, the ability to plan and direct the work of others, and assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures. ARRT with advanced registry in MR, CT or Mammo is required. Candidates with ARDMS registry will also be considered. Pre-employment drug screen & background check are required. Immediate consideration for qualified & committed applicants. EXPERIENCE: Must have 3-5 years relevant experience with at least two years of supervisory experience in related field. Demonstrated leadership experience. Knowledge of modern business practices, budgeting, accounting, and supervisory techniques. Skills: * Must have a working knowledge of clinical and/or support service operations, the ability to plan and direct the work of others, and assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures. * Must also be knowledgeable of imaging accreditation and applicable industry regulations (ACR, Medicare, etc.) * Must be able to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing. * Must possess the ability to assist in developing program objectives and deadlines and work within approved budget. * Must be proficient in computer applications, to include MS Office Suite. EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology technology. Bachelor's Degree and/or CRA preferred.
