Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute Diversity and Inclusion meetings IAW agency Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Plan.
  • Develop statistics to analyze workforce composition in comparison to civilian workforce.
  • Identify barriers and recommend actions to correct workforce imbalances, such as upward mobility, reassignment, employee development, and recruitment.
  • Prepare policy and correspondence as directed by the EEO manager.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

To qualify for this position, you must have one year of specialized experience at the NH-02 pay band or equivalent GS-11 grade level.

Specialized experience for this position is defined as one year of experience which includes: (1) Retrieving, analyzing, and presenting workforce demographic data to senior leadership and managers (2) Developing a strategic plan to increase hiring of underrepresented groups 3) Preparing agency reports such as the Affirmative Employment Plan (MD 715) and the Federal Equal Opportunity Recruitment Plan (FEORP) AND (4) Developing training materials and conducting training courses on EEO, affirmative employment, special emphasis, and prevention of sexual harassment.

Education

  • This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-03 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS grade 12 Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS grade 13 step 5 in the broadband. This position is covered by control points to account for variances in position responsibilities within the broadband. The Control Point for this position NH-03, Non-Supervisory Journey Professional is $83,398.00 to $112,393.00 including locality at the rate of 29.32%. Management will set the selectee's pay for this position within the control point salary range consistent with the qualifications and education of the selectee and the expected contribution for the position.
