This is a full-time opportunity that comes with PTO, benefits, bonus potential, etc. If you or someone you may know might be interested, please send an updated word resume to Justin Ford at [Click Here to Email Your Resume] Title: Infrastructure Architect (formerly Infrastructure & Cloud Lead) Reporting: This position reports to the Director of Data Centers & Infrastructure Direct Reports: This position has no direct reports but has oversight and leadership responsibilities as described below Responsibilities: This client has a managed service infrastructure support agreement with TCS, this role oversees the day to day delivery of infrastructure services by TCS Assesses/monitors quality outcomes of outsource provider and works to remediate issues with provider account team. Advises, consults, and devises infrastructure solutions needed to support project activity, including devising staffing plans & estimates to deliver Is internal IT owner of infrastructure (datacenter) assets & responsible for tracking of all Infrastructure assets Is internal IT owner of infrastructure controls, including GITC (General IT Controls) Is internal IT owner of policies in the Infrastructure space Is internal IT owner of all Infrastructure audits and remediation activities Is responsible for metrics related to the delivery of steady state and project support activity related to Infrastructure services Has reporting, dashboarding, and alerting to ensure all day-to-day operational responsibilities are met (ie server backups are successful, capacity is adequate, monitoring existing for all critical services and alerts are received appropriately) Is responsible for driving root cause analysis of incidences and recommendations to prevent recurrence Prioritizes work for outsource partners when required (ie conflicts) Owns & drivers hardware refresh plan Owner & drives infrastructure stability plan Maintains and is technical POS for infrastructure vendors & suppliers Participates in Major Incident Management/on-call rotation Participates in on-call rotations for providing hands-on datacenter support in Sparks, MD as needed Validates the need for hardware/software/cloud services maintenance & support renewals and adjusts license counts as needed Skills & Experience: Has working knowledge of Windows & Linux systems and previous hands on experience. Has working knowledge of storage & backup systems and previous hands on experience. Has working knowledge of monitoring systems and previous hands on experience. Has working knowledge of core foundational infrastructure services, including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and previous hands out experience. Has working knowledge of data center technical & electrical practices and previous hands on experience.
