GDIT has an exciting opportunity available for a Harris/Thales Radios Field Service Representative (FSR) for Camp Humphrey, Korea . Must have a current and active Secret clearance. The role will be as Land Mobile Radio (LMR) FSR to work at the front end of the delivery of our operation. This position requires individuals who are self-motivated, suitably experienced, qualified, and able to make command decisions on the spot in order to achieve the aims of the organization. Specific radios can include but not limited to: AN/PRC-148 Multiband Inter/Intra Team Radio (MBITR, AN/PRC-152 Multiband Handheld Radio, N/PRC-152A Wideband Networking Handheld Radio, AN/PRC-117G(V)1(C) Multiband Networking Manpack Radio, AN/PRC-117F/G Multiband Manpack Radio, A-3575 75-watt multiband amplifier, and A-350 50-watt multiband amplifier. This position can occasionally require the conduct of work in the outdoors. Role Responsibilities: To manage and administer LMR equipment maintenance program throughout the area of operation (AOR). Manage all aspects of Harris and Thales radio systems troubleshooting and repair. Supervise and perform maintenance actions in RF electronics lab, including testing of radio equipment with RF/analog test equipment, troubleshooting low performance specifications utilizing schematics and layouts. Manage troubleshooting, Fault Isolation, PMCS, and return to service of assigned systems and subsystems. Perform replacement and repair for all components associated with systems. Oversee the calibration, operation, maintenance, modification, testing, troubleshooting and repair of systems of a highly complex nature. Operate and manage a wide range of equipment, including automated benches, real-time oscilloscopes, pulse generators and power supplies. Oversee and execute set-up, collaboration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Provide Technical representation at meetings and consultations with clients or their representatives. Manages customer expectations as the on-site company representative. Individual will be the on-site point liaison for the customer. Maintain strong attention to detail. Maintain a positive attitude and work as a member of a cohesive team as well as independently. Interact with all levels of the organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful way. Multi-task efficiently and work in a fast pace environment on multiple projects. Provide controls and records as to the progress of work and maintenance of LMR Assets within the AOR. Contacts and coordinates with internal departments for parts as required ensuring optimal equipment operation. Performs all other duties assigned The Ideal Candidate must have: Must have a current and active US Government SECRET clearance. BS or equivalent Military/Technical Experience. One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education. Minimum of 7 years Electronics/Communications technical experience. Minimum of 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role. Strong background in AN/PRC 117 series, AN/PRC 148 series, AN/PRC 152 series Radios, as well as, and AN/PVS-7 series radios. Valid driver's license. Experience with Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems. Preference with experience Harris/Thales on trunked radio systems. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to meet internal paperwork requirements. Experience with RF test equipment. The Ideal Candidate will have : 4 years in troubleshooting, fault finding, and repair of electronic equipment. Knowledge of electronic test equipment used for troubleshooting, diagnostics and preventative maintenance of Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems; communications analyzers (service monitors) spectrum analyzers, and volt meters. Experience working in hostile and austere environments. Experience in Customer support. Experience in stock control and asset management. Desirable Skills/Qualifications: Army MOS 25U/B/S or other Electronic RF repair career fields. Experience in a forward-facing customer support role. Excellent customer presence as well as verbal and written communication skills, writing system documentation documents, and communications involving system installation and operation.
