GDIT is seeking a Senior Enterprise Agile Consultant who will be working under general direction and in partnership with GDIT leadership in DOJ, Judicial, and Law Enforcement Business Area, and assigned to provide Lean-Agile coaching and training. The Enterprise Agile Consultant will work with multiple teams and individuals at varying levels of agile maturity (from no use of agile to mature agile teams) to determine the team's current state processes and develop a plan to adopt agile or improve their current use of agile. The Enterprise Agile Consultant will provide guidance to ensure effective application of Lean-Agile principles and applicable standards in alignment with commonly used methodologies such as Scrum, XP, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework(R) (SAFe). The Enterprise Agile Consultant will work directly with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Scrum and Kanban Teams, as well as Program Managers, Senior Leaders and others responsible for Agile adoption and execution. The Enterprise Agile Consultant may also provide internal training and coaching, and support growth activities as needed. The successful candidate must be familiar with Federal Government contracting and protocols of working with sensitive information and/or inside secure Government facilities. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate outstanding hands-on experience and thorough understanding of traditional program/project management, system engineering life cycles in addition to Lean-Agile frameworks. The successful candidate must demonstrate outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills working as part of a team and at times in a highly autonomous manner, mentoring others as needed. Mandatory Qualifications: Professional Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Scaled Agile Framework SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) Demonstrated experience as Agile Consultant for an IT organization that consists of Architecture, Infrastructure Engineering and Operations, Software Development, Security, and Support. Ability to monitor the progress of multiple concurrent teams with the ability to recommend or take required corrective actions; skilled at risk identification and management; and communicate effectively to the customer, stakeholder, and project team. Outstanding communication skill and ability to articulate complex resource and technical issues to a range of audiences. Experience with leading enterprise level projects comprised of multi-disciplinary cross-organizational teams from start to end using federal agency Project Management framework and Agile Project Management methodology. Experience in supporting multiple concurrent projects, short deadlines, and competing priorities. Experience in identification of programmatic challenges, risks, and constraints coupled with strong ability to convey well thought-out mitigation strategies. Experience in leading infrastructure engineering and large solution projects using the Agile methodology and ability to recognize challenges and make recommendation for necessary changes needed to help projects successful operating within the Agile construct. 1. Serves as a top level technical or functional expert supporting one or more clients and unlimited user groups. 2. Performs highly specialized technical tasks associated with cutting-edge technologies. 3. Works with user groups to solve business problems with available technology including hardware, software, databases, and peripherals. 4. Applies expert functional knowledge and experience to significant business projects or processes. 5. May perform business development activities, including providing technical input to proposal efforts. 6. Provides guidance and training to less experienced staff. 7. May serve as a technical task or project leader. 8. May have supervisory responsibilities. 9. Maintains current knowledge of relevant developments in area of expertise. 10. Participates in special projects as required.
