This is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Systems Manager to lead a team as you support a premier company's financial systems. The successful Financial Systems Manager will have extensive experience with Deltek's Enterprise Suite, including Costpoint, Time & Expense, and Cognos Business Intelligence (BI). The position will also be responsible for researching reporting requirements and ensuring systems are aligned to meet these requirements. The position will also be responsible for establishing and ensuring best practices are implemented. This position will report to the Vice President of Information Technology, but responsible for collaborating with Finance & Accounting teams (such as FP&A, Project Accounting and Corporate Accounting) and Corporate Accounting. Responsibilities * Work directly with Finance & Accounting stakeholders, develops and maintains relationships with them to understand and be able to adapt to new and changing business requirements and support needs. * Monitor and maintain the Deltek Enterprise applications, interfaces, and processes to ensure maximum efficiency, performance and accuracy. * Monitor and ensure the successful completion of scheduled Process Management jobs for daily, weekly and month-end closing activities in the system. * Gather and analyze user requirements, translate functional requirements into specifications * Create test plans and perform full regression testing in the path to production environments for new functionality * Prepare and maintain documentation, including requirements, specs, process flow documentation, and procedures. * Provide guidance, training and support on core functionality in Costpoint and T&E 9x. * Assign and manage access, security roles in Deltek Costpoint and Time & Expense * Coordinates with the report writer as needed to facilitate the creation and improvement of reports and queries * Understanding of Deltek's Costpoint and Time and Expense applications core structures and functionality * 5+ years' experience with Deltek Costpoint as an Administrator and/or functional expert * Strong working knowledge of Costpoint Accounting, Project and Billing modules and Time & Expense * Experience in support administration and process improvement * Experience with system conversions, system upgrades and integrating acquired businesses into existing business application environment * Strong skills in SQL (SQL server or Oracle), Reporting Tools, and application integration toolsets * Experience in requirements gathering, gap analysis, application configuration, data conversion, testing, go-live, and support * Ability to manage changing / competing requirements and priorities in a highly dynamic environment. * Strong interpersonal, communication, and consensus building skills * Excellent business, detail orientation, organization and analytical skills * Proficient in MS-Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Experience with demanding customers in a time-pressured environment. * BA / BS, in Accounting, Business or Management Information Systems Desired Skills: * Experience using Microsoft SQL Server * Experience using Cognos Report Writer For immediate consideration, please e-mail your resume directly to Ted Keigler at [Click Here to Email Your Resume] and/or call him directly at (410) 783-6290.
