TechWerks specializes in healthcare information technology, training, analytics, and clinical research. We are seeking a Instructional Designer/Trainer to join our team. The primary role is to design and deliver training on a variety of subjects, and over multiple platforms (ie face-to-face, e-learning, webinars, etc.). The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of learning & development experience. Must be comfortable delivering training to employees at all levels and have excellent collaborative skills. This is a remote/work from home opportunity. Job Duties: Conduct needs assessments and strategic learning assessments to develop the basis for curriculum development or to update curricula. Interview subject matter experts and/or conduct other research to develop instructional content. Design and develop learning solutions and programs for employees for web-based, instructor-led, and blended formats using evidence-based instructional design practices. Design and develop performance and learning support materials such as manuals, guides, course materials, handouts or job aids, including web-based aids or electronic performance support systems. Assess effectiveness and efficiency of instruction according to the relevance of instructional technology use and student learning, knowledge transfer, and satisfaction. Present and facilitate trainings and classes using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures. Observe in-house faculty and provide feedback on instructional techniques, presentation and facilitation methods, or instructional aids. Consult internal customers around learning needs and make recommendations regarding course design, technology, and instructional delivery options. Research and evaluate emerging instructional technologies or methods. Provide analytical support for the design and development of training curricula, learning strategies, educational policies, or courseware standards. Develop master course documentation and/or templates. Deliver training both in person and using Virtual Classroom technology via MS Lync Provide feedback on course materials and help to improve them based on delivery experience Assist in the mentoring of new trainers and / or partners as we scale the training business Address challenges during training delivery when they arise Identifies challenges and issues in training delivery and potential mitigation strategies / assist in implementing strategies Maintain class documentation, including registration, evaluations, and feedback via LMS Qualifications: 6-8 years of direct training experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Excellent written and oral communications skills Excellent presentation, project management, and organizational skills a must ASTD Training Certificate a plus Preferred - Experience Working with The Following: .
