We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Architect with a background as a leader in using Agile and DevSecOps methods using microservices in the cloud to join our team in Northern Virginia and begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems. The ideal candidate is an individual who is expert in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery and Deployment (CI/CD) using both containerized and serverless microservices in AWS and Azure production environments. This individual is capable of architecting innovative solutions that include both back-end and front-end technologies and services; including, system architecture and design, software development, infrastructure as code, systems engineering, security and user interface/user experience (UI/UX) necessary to deliver mission capabilities to clients. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial business-value driven approach experimenting as a part of the delivery process. In this role, you must be able to translate business requirements into technical solutions. You will be leading teams as well as collaborating with the government customer and other vendors. You will apply your expertise on multiple complex work assignments which are broad in nature, requiring originality, creativity, and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. You will apply your comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments, evaluate performance results and recommend changes as necessary to achieve project success. You will lead the architecture of complex systems and demonstrations related to a broad range of business areas. Your overall responsibilities will include architecting, designing, developing, enhancing, debugging, and implementing software solutions, architectures and infrastructure as code environments and demonstrating strong estimation and planning skills, leading native cloud migrations and operations, and DevSecOps CI/CD delivery in containerized and serverless cloud production environments. Duties: * Oversee and organize all architecture and technical activities to meet customer requirements. * Oversee and plan the Agile and DevSecOps teams' activities to meet program deliverables and deliver customer business value * Direct Agile and DevSecOps team personnel * Serve as the primary customer technical contact * Perform resource estimation based on a point-based system, track progress and adjust plans based on team velocity and any changes in the product owner's priorities * Serve as a leader and mentor to inspire, direct and manage the Agile and DevSecOps teams in support of the customer mission Requirements * Shall have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the IT field focusing on development projects, Agile, DevSecOps and technical architecture specifically. * Possess strong architecture and design experience with a minimum of 3 of the 10 years and experience deploying enterprise applications on AWS. * Possess expertise in large scale, high performance enterprise big data application deployment and solution architecture on complex heterogeneous environments in the cloud * Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science About Unisys Do you have what it takes to be mission critical?
