Position Description: Under the direction of the AVP, the Kiosk Leasing Manager negotiates and executes long-term kiosk lease deals in their assigned shopping centers. Emphasis placed on revenue growth and merchandise mix required to ensure delivery of budgetary goals and enhanced shopping experience. This position requires a strong understanding of sales, retail trends, marketing and merchandising in order to negotiate leases and market to prospective merchants. Essential Job Functions *Identify, negotiate and execute new and renewal kiosk deals within assigned centers in region *Monitor lease expirations, termination rights, lease options and underperforming retailers to mitigate risk and maintain budgeted cash flow *Maintain open communication with center management and leasing teams with regards to common area leasing efforts *Collaborate with center Specialty Leasing Manager in lead development and common area retailer incubation *Execute sales and merchandising strategy at center and/or regional level *Through traditional prospecting and social media outreach efforts, identity and develop new common area retail concepts for long term kiosk deals *Maintain accurate forecasting, budget and financial reports for assigned centers *Develop a thorough understanding of basic legal terms, tenant entities, city codes and requirement *Work closely with legal, design and tenant coordination departments to ensure timely execution of leases and kiosk openings *Remain current on retail trends with emphasis on gifts, technology, fashion accessories and food Requirements and Qualifications *Bachelor's Degree required *Minimum of 3-5 years in retail sales, real estate sales/leasing, media sales or specialty/kiosk leasing *Comprehensive understanding of marketing and merchandising techniques *Understanding of both the business and legal terminology used *Strong interpersonal and sales skills are necessary *Self-starter, flexibility in work schedule, as needed *Basic computer skills (Word, Excel etc.) *All applicants must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, including corresponding core job requirements, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
