The new Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics of the George Washington University (GWU) Milken Institute School of Public Health (SPH) is recruiting two full-time tenure-track faculty members at the assistant, associate, or full professor level. Candidates with interests in all areas of statistics and in the emerging field of data science are invited to apply. The successful candidate will develop and maintain an active research program in biostatistics. Opportunities to conduct research and collaborate at the renowned Biostatistics Center are available. Basic Qualifications:A' All applicants must have a doctoral degree conferred no later than the start date of the position in biostatistics, statistics, data science or relevant field. Applicants must have a strong track record of peer-reviewed publications, evidence of proposing and/or implementing funded research, and a history of teaching graduate level courses and/or mentoring graduate students. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
