We are the industry leader in both serving our clients and recognizing that successful events donA cents € (TM) t just happen by chance.A' The CSI Washington, DC office is currently seeking a Account Executive to join the Sales Team.A' The Account Executive is a member of the Sales Team working to reach revenue goals, creating compelling proposals, keeping event budgets up to date and participate in client presentations to name a few exciting activities.A' The employeeA cents € (TM) s primary objective is to:A' Create an exceptional experience, every time.A' CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:Achieve Annual revenue goals as mutually agreed upon. Hotel marketing split with sales team goals and personal sales goals.Build and maintain active relationships with identified accounts and meet weekly calendared goals/tasks.Build and Maintain relationships with assigned hotels to included continuous visits, appointments, presentations and partnerships on FAMA cents € (TM) s and other eventsUtilizing customer lists, hotel referrals, existing and past relationships, identify accounts with potential, research and create solicitation plan and or trace/follow-upsOn-going networking through evening industry events, one-on-one meetings/lunch/dinner, hotel visits and other sourcesCollaborate to best identify clientA cents € (TM) s needs and solutions, attend site visits and assist with closing the business where neededAttend/Travel for trade shows and sales missions based on needsWork with Creative Services collaboratively on CSI signature events as well as marketing pieces and other deliverables as needed to make sure the CSI Washington, DC office has the most updated and needed marketing materials to succeed.Constantly represent CSI and be a spokesperson for the brand, positive and knowledgeable updates at hand in our local industry.A' Identify and refer potential opportunities through CSI Washington, DC business development efforts to other CSI destinations, refer/introduce prospective clients to National Account ManagersA' Maintain database entries and call reports for all opportunities, generate reports where needed REQUIREMENTS:A' .A' A' A' A' A' A' A minimum of 3-5 years of industry experienceA' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Familiarity with destinationA' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Solid experience with logistics involved with event planning and ability to drive and manage clientsA' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Ability to manage multiple clients and multiple programs at any one timeA' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Expert people skills, particularly conflict resolutionA' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Solutions oriented, detail oriented and demonstrates effective multi-task/multi-client managementA' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Experience with budget management, financial tracking and contract negotiationsA' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Excellent computer and technology skillsA' .A' A' A' A' A' A' A' A demonstrated history of sourcing lead opportunities and converting them to salesA' .A' A' A' A' A' A' A proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goalsA' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to influence decision makers and their teamsA' .A' A' A' A' A' A' The ability to A cents € oepaint the pictureA cents € conceptually for clients during meetings and sites and convert these to visually appealing, winning proposalsA' .A' A' A' A' A' A' An organized work ethic with a proactive approach to completing tasks and maintaining accurate recordsA' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Willing and able to attend industry networking eventsA' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Able to work autonomously yet collaborate as part of a team on workflowsA' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Well-rounded computer literacy and technology skills with the ability to learn new applications quicklyA' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Must be self-directed with strong project management skillsA' .A' A' A' A' A' A' The ability to maintain a schedule appropriate to the needs of a workplace and industry where which includes nights and weekend work on an as needed basisA' .A' A' A' A' A' A' CMP or DMCP designation is a plus, but not requiredA' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Ability to learn new software introduced at CSI (knowledge of Salesforce a plus)A' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Must be eligible to work in the USA' .A' A' A' A' A' A' Must be eligible to travel domestically and internationally.
