Position title: Database LiaisonReports to: Program ManagerPOSITION SUMMARYISS-USA is looking for a skilled, highly motivated, and organized Database Liaison to join our team. The individual who fills this temporary position needs to be flexible, energetic and able to maintain the agency standard of excellence. In addition, the candidate must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The Database Liaison will be responsible for oversight and completion of tasks associated with data storage, reports, analytics, design, and implementation related to disaster case management.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESA cents € cents Collect, maintain and manage all project data in the database;A cents € cents Provide appropriate management of data and PII;A cents € cents Liaise with appropriate ETO experts to develop and implement an interface between the repatriation database system and the ACF/OHSERP electronic case management system;A cents € cents Assist in the development of the database interface to collect, share, and manage data for care coordination efforts between ISS-USA repatriation and OHSEPR electronic case management system;A cents € cents Provide technical assistance to enhance the ability of the ACF/OHSEPR case management system to capture and report all necessary data;A cents € cents Manage internal data collection, data entry, data checking and reporting to ensure that the data being entered can provide the relevant reports and summary of activities needed for all repatriation and disaster case management activities;A cents € cents Capture data to document the interface between emergency repatriation and disaster case management services and data;A cents € cents Support the training manager in the development of outcome measures, recording and analyzing data to understand and improve the effectiveness of training and technical assistance services provided;A cents € cents Support the training manager and assistant on developing effective tools to manage all people who will be trained and potentially deployed;A cents € cents Provide program resources as required and support on call disaster surge personnel readiness;A cents € cents Review and routinely monitor all data entry for completeness and accuracy, perform quality assurance tests, summarize findings and make recommendations for continual improvement;A cents € cents Ability and willingness to support and deploy during a national disaster;A cents € cents Provide training and support as required to those utilizing the system;A cents € cents Create and maintain written manual of all database processes and templates for data entry for the program;A cents € cents All other duties as assigned.Skills and AbilitiesA cents € cents Organized with attention to detail, able to work independently and under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment;Requirements:A cents € cents Expert in a full range of computer software packages such as but not limited to MS Access, FileMaker Pro, Oracle, MS Office Suite, and other database software;A cents € cents BachelorA cents € (TM) s degree or minimum four years of progressively responsible experience with databases including design/development, implementation, data entry, data extraction, query design, and reporting;A cents € cents Impeccable organizational, time management, and attention to detail;A cents € cents Manage multiple tasks, adhere to strict deadlines, and produce accurate information/reports;A cents € cents Professional at all times;A cents € cents Culturally competent and works well with a culturally diverse staff;A cents € cents Available during business hours Mon-Fri 9-5;A cents € cents Reliable and flexible, Keen sense of humor; commitment to the mission of ISS; must like plants.
