Responsibilities

  • Serves as senior Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) staff specialist and advisor on quality assurance functions, policies, and implementation.
  • Plans, formulates, and coordinates master quality assurance plans, policies, and programs for worldwide application at DCMA field activities.
  • Evaluates effectiveness of plans and policies and develops improvements.
  • Provides technical assistance and advice on intricate quality assurance issues to HQ DCMA management and field activities worldwide.
  • Leads team projects to eliminate barriers to continuous improvement in agency quality assurance functions.
  • Provides liaison with various DCMA, DoD, other Government senior managers, organizations and industry.

QUALIFICATIONS: In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.

Specialized Experience required: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level NH-03. Specialized experience is defined as: experience developing quality assurance plans, policies and programs for agency implementation; experience assessing the impact of policies on quality assurance functions; and experience developing written technical information into policy.

Education cannot be substituted for experience.
