This General Manager will teach and develop food production employees in culinary skills, train and develop dietary staff in exceptional customer services. This is a hands-on position moving from back of the house to front of the house and administrative financial duties, P&L. Ideal Candidate Skills and Certification: Contract food service management experience / ideally in a healthcare or Senior living environment Hands on skills with food production and standard recipes Experience managing food cost and coordinating invoicing Skills to train & develop food production & dining room staff Computer skills; food, labor, financial management systems Experience enhancing customer service programs Servsafe Certified CDM, Certified Dietary Manager or equivalent is required; Success is measured by exceeding Resident & Client expectations! Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract.
