The PCAOB oversees the audits of public companies and SEC-registered brokers and dealers in order to protect investors and further the public interest in the preparation of informative, accurate, and independent audit reports. Job Description Summary The Associate Director, Organizational Development position is located in the Washington, DC headquarters and resides in the Office of Human Resources. The Associate Director, Organizational Development will report to the Deputy Director, Human Resources and will serve in a key leadership role, providing oversight for a broad set of organization effectiveness and talent management functions including organizational effectiveness consulting, leadership succession planning, organizational leadership review, performance management, organization development, and inclusion and engagement strategy. Responsibilities Partners with the Deputy Director, HR, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), and senior leadership to ensure organizational effectiveness programs' strategies are aligned with the enterprise development framework. Provides day to day leadership support and oversight to the functional areas of Culture and Inclusion, Engagement, Learning and Development, and Performance Management. Leads, designs, and creates the culture assessment for the organization and transformation actions that are developed as a result of the assessment. Collaborates with division/office leaders to identify and assess organizational effectiveness opportunities across the organization and design unique strategies and solutions to address those needs and enhance performance. Provides proactive, confidential support of managers, employees and teams in relationship building, effective collaboration, conflict management, work/life balance and other culture/climate matters. Designs and develops organization change efforts necessary to achieve the business long range strategic plan. Provides coaching and consultation to employees and managers, offering feedback and advice in a proactive and compassionate manner. Works with division/office leadership and the HR team to develop employee development strategies to meet employee needs, including HR related topics, and supervisory/leadership training. Assists in identifying organizational development resources and opportunities to support division and office effectiveness. Identifies leadership development, succession planning, and training to address individual needs and foster retention of key talent. Supports the PCAOB Employee Engagement on-going action planning initiative. Designs policies and execute new initiatives in HR and cultural development to serve the diverse workforce, and leverage necessary resources, tools, and techniques to achieve goals. Collaborates and partners with the HR Team to understand goals and initiatives and incorporate them in the different culture initiatives to create synergy in carrying out HR Organizational Strategies. Leads the development and implementation of employee rewards and recognition programs. Partners with HR Business Partners to implement enterprise-wide organizational effectiveness solutions. Partners with the Office of External Affairs to ensure effective communications and delivery of organizational development programs across the enterprise. Works with the CHRO, Deputy Director, HR and HR functional leaders to successfully manage the OHR budget planning and execution process. Performs the full range of supervisory duties; recruits, maintains, and develops staff consistent with business needs. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications Education/Technical Expertise Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, in Human Resources Management or related field. MBA/Master's degree in Human Resources a plus. Strong background as a diversity and inclusion subject matter expert, with a focus on change management, culture/climate, employee engagement, and learning and development. Minimum of 12+ years of human resources experience. Demonstrated leadership of people and processes. Fair, balanced, and respectful engagement style. Strong ability to influence, affinity for people and demonstrated experience leveraging those skills into business outcomes. A reputation for discretion, integrity, judgment, responsiveness, and strong attention to detail. Must be creative and able to think strategically and logically; pay close attention to detail, establish and execute procedures to completion. Strong verbal and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills. Must be able to work effectively under pressure, manage time, set priorities and meet deadlines. Able to drive change and; Ability to multi-task, organize and interact effectively with all levels of internal and external customers. Advanced working knowledge of software applications, ie, Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to develop and implement strategic Human Resources initiatives. Proven strengths in negotiation, analysis, and problem solving. Must be able to take initiative and work independently; to devise own methods and complete assignments.
