LMI is seeking an Enterprise Architecture expert to assist a federal agency in the Washington, DC area. This position is contingent upon contract being awarded. Responsibilities Individual will be responsible for helping a federal government agency develop and implement enterprise architectures (EAs).Developing models to help depict agency business processes and areas of improvementConducting workshops to help stakeholders gain consensus on architecture issuesDeveloping EA business and sequencing plansPerforming Application Rationalization of existing IT applications and providing recommendations using Gartner's TIME model.Interact with Federal Government SME's to coordinate potential EA changes.Assist with assessment and provide recommendations to federal agencies on the alignment of IT resources to agency mission and goals. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information management or information systems management, business administration, technology management or related disciplines, or equivalent experience.Eight or more years experience in working with large government or private sector IT programs or systems.Demonstrated experience with modeling methodologies techniques such as: Business Process Modeling Notation and Unified Modeling LanguageDemonstrated experience with OMB's reference models, GAO's Capability Maturity Model, and other federal EA gudianceExperience with EA frameworks, including FEAF, Open Group, DoDAF, and ZachmannUnderstanding and past performance working with Technology Business Management (TBM) framework.* Strong time management and organizational skills essential.* Ability to effectively interact with personnel involved in policy, technical, operational, and program management work. Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality in all business matters required.Ability to pass a government security clearance process is required, for which you must be a US citizen.Preferred QualificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to compose, write and edit a variety of general business correspondence, management reports, technical presentations, proposals and position papers.Must be self-directed and detail oriented.Strong problem solving and analytical skills essential.Doctorate, Master's, or additional Bachelor's degree in a management, business, economics, engineering, quantitative/qualitative analysis, IT or related field.Preferred to hold CEA certificationCertified Technology Business Management Executive (CTBM) certificationUnderstanding and past performance working with Technology Business Management (TBM) framework
