Our client is currently seeking a Systems Engineer (630059) to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Federal NOTAM System Implementation group in Washington, DC. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain Government clearance.*Qualified candidates will assist in the development, deployment and user support activities associated with the Aeronautical Services Implementation for the systems and capabilities that maintain aeronautical data. Duties Include: Analysis and systems engineering of software updates.Use JIRA tool to triage, track and manage software bugs and user issues.Update PM dashboard with data from JIRA tool.Coordinate engineering reviews and support technical meetings with stakeholders, users and development contractors.Complete NAS documentation to baseline and maintain configuration management of the system design.Support User Acceptance Testing events.Support 28- and 56-day publication cycle reviews. Required Qualifications: Ability to communicate well both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy.Proficient with MS Windows and MS Office applications and software. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with JIRA ticket management tool.*Past FAA work experience.*Experience with FAA Aeronautical systems.
