Position: Media Relations ManagerLocation: Baltimore, MDStatus: Freelance / ContractEstimated Duration: 12+ MonthsStarts: October 2019Rate: Up to $30/HR DOEJob Description:Our financial client in McLean, VA is looking for a Media Relations Manager to join their team.This role is onsite, 40 hours/week for at least 12 months with the possibility to extend.Media Relations Manager Responsibilities:- Develop and execute on consumer campaigns and strategy- Work with our marketing and creative teams to identify themes, topics and content that will resonate with target audiences and meet strategic business objectives- Identify the core media list and find ways to deepen those relationships- Identify and establish relationships with influencers that can contribute to and amplify our content- Leverage data and insights to inform narratives and influence programming- Build powerful, dynamic, influential content that can be adapted and shared across a variety of internal and external channels including earned media, social media, web and digital, events, advertising and sponsorships and e-mail- Build and enhance mutually beneficial relationships among target industry media and influencers- Deliver flawless media engagement through comprehensive spokesperson prep, on the ground support, and follow-up- Leverage data and insights to build a client's profile as an "authoritative source" for business among target media and influencers- Work with third party agency(s) and vendors to support "Always On" programming and media engagementMedia Relations Manager Qualifications:- 5+ years of Communications experience in developing/ implementing integrated communication strategies- B2C experience- Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communications, Marketing or Public Relations- Comfortable working with senior executives on effective communications that support organization objectives- Excellent written and verbal communications- Comfortable managing multiple projects and timelines- Consumer brand, financial or Fortune 500 experience is preferredIf you feel you are qualified for this position please send your resume (and samples if applicable) to: View additional job opportunities at www.creativecircle.comCreative Circle is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
