Job Description: This position supports tasking in our office located in Lexington Park, MD. We are looking for a candidate to join our software team as a software tester, working in a dynamic Agile environment, building and supporting a software suite for our Navy customers. The candidate should have experience and knowledge of software applied testing. The candidate will be responsible for: *designing, developing and executing test plans and procedures to ensure high-availability and performance of an Agile software development project *working with the technical leads to coordinate and prioritize tasks via backlogs for planning sprints and schedules *working with the team to ensure builds and baselines accurately reflect versions of software related to test phases *ensuring all testing documentation are produced and configuration controlled *evaluated of COTS/GOTS solutions for alternative methods of testing Candidate must have experience with Microsoft Test Manager The ideal candidate will have previous experience with software test execution in one or more of the following areas: system-level testing, system-integration testing, user-acceptance testing, load testing and automated test scripting/execution. Previous test planning experience is also desired.
