The successful candidates will support the NASA OCIO Program Executive for Computing Services and will work closely with the Office's team of civil servants and contractors. The position will be located at the SGT office in Greenbelt, Maryland. Projects will range from long-term support to multiple, concurrent quick turnaround engagementsDevelop a rich understanding and working knowledge of the Computing Services subject matter as well as implementation of computing services enterprise wideAssisting in the operational functions of the Computing Services Program (CSP), filling gaps as identified and necessaryDeveloping/writing/reviewing/editing technical or business documents and briefingsCreate weekly and monthly status reportsPreparing charts, tables, and images for inclusion in documentsOrganizing meetings (including logistics, developing and giving presentations)Write, organize, and distribute meeting and workshop minutesResearching technical or business topicsResearching and reviewing IT and/or computing governance documentation as it pertains to NASA as an agencyReading, reviewing and responding to auditsParticipating in meetings, both internal to NASA and external, on behalf of the ProgramDeveloping training materialsParticipating in strategic development activities for the ProgramPerforming analysis of documents or data in support of the Program execution or decision-makingPerform project management duties such as, planning, scheduling, task management, monitoring activities, and deliverable tracking for CSP.Maintenance of Sharepoint sites, other collaboration sites and administration of curation of other IT systems related to the business of the Computing Services Program.Coordination of outreach activities may be required such as presentation development.Will travel to Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA 6-7 trips annually. Occasional visits to NASA HQ and other NASA centers may also be required.REQUIREMENTS: At least 8 years of experience working in a fast-paced, technical office environmentExperience with scheduling and deliverable tracking and managementExperience in logistical planning and support of meetingsExcellent command of IT business tools is a must Knowledge of cloud computing, data centers, system management and general IT infrastructure conceptsExperience with or knowledge of NASA information policiesExperience in project or program managementStrong skills in presentation development and documentation preparation and deliveryExperience with public speakingKeen attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to work in a team environmentWillingness to participate in special projects and performing other duties as assignedHighly self-motivatedAbility to work on multiple, concurrent efforts and manage time efficientlyExcellent listening and interpersonal skillsExcellent writing skillsEDUCATION:B.S. Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field is preferred. Familiarity in these areas, combined with experience in general communications, reporting, and scheduling.
