SAIC's cyber security team and work on this effort that encompasses technical, engineering, management, operation, logistical and administrative support for cyber security operations. The ideal candidate will have broad and deep experience in cyber security with demonstrated successes in supporting a large scale IT infrastructure encompassing overseas and domestic facilities. The E&V program performs configuration and vulnerabilities scanning and on-site security assessments to ensure the Department's networks are operated in compliance with established security configuration standards and void of known security vulnerabilities. The Technical Lead will lead a team conducts configuration compliance verification and vulnerability assessments. Evaluates, tests, and recommends verification and assessment tools. Organizes and schedules compliance verification and vulnerability assessment activities. Coordinates with organizations, including IRM, on scheduled activities. Contributes security expertise in working groups. Leads and supervises lower level analysts. Qualifications: Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Telecommunications, or other related scientific or technical discipline. Four (4) additional years of general experience (as defined below) may be substituted for the degree. General Experience: 10 years of experience in system or network design, engineering, implementation or operations with increasing responsibilities. Specialized Experience: Five (5) years of current experience in network or system security to include network security products and/or network security evaluation and assessment products test, evaluation, implementation or operations. Three (3) years of technical task management and supervisory experience. Required: ITIL-based service management tools such as Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk; Vulnerability scanners such as Nessus, Qualys and Rapid 7; security compliance audit tools such as McAfee Policy Auditor; and dynamic analysis security testing (DAST) tools such as HP Webinspect and Veracode.
