Family medicine is the medical specialty that provides continuing and comprehensive healthcare for the individual and family. The scope of family practice encompasses all ages and genders, each organ system, and every disease entity.

We are in search of a New Grad Licensed Practical Nurse to join our growing practice. The Registered Nurse will perform a variety of complex patient care (laboratory and possibly radiology tests) and administrative activities to assist physicians, patients and staff. Assists in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management. Provides clinical training to other staff when needed.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
• Education: A LPN degree, graduate from an accredited college
• Experience: 1-2 years' experience in a medical office practice or hospital setting. Experience in Primary care practice preferred
• Certificate/License: A current and unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse, CPR required

Skills:
• Knowledge of primary care office. Knowledge of medical terminology. Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment procedures. Ability to communicate clearly. Ability to react in emergent situations. Complies with all OSHA and Safety guidelines. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Knowledge with previous EMR programs: Need strong interpersonal and communication skills. Able to thrive in a fast pace environment with competing demands. Able to switch gears quickly and frequently

Benefits: Full benefits

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm (Practice is closed for an hour during lunch)

Saturday 8:00am to Noon (They rotate staff to cover Saturday morning. You will know well in advance when are scheduled
