Summary
This position is located in the Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration (ITA), Enforcement and Compliance (E&C), Washington, District of Columbia.
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that all Anti-Dumping (AD) margin calculations using Statistical Analysis Systems (SAS) software are accurate and in accordance with the statute and that the applicable U.S. laws, regulations and agreements are fairly and effectively enforced.

Responsibilities
- Preparing the Statistical Analysis Systems (SAS) programming used in Anti-Dumping (AD) calculations.
- Participating in the defense of Enforcement and Compliance determinations before the U.S. international trade courts.
- Preparing any remand re-determinations mandated in conjunction with litigation, as required.
- Providing excellent customer service, responding to inquiries by internal and external customers, stakeholders, and the public.
- Enforcing U.S. Trade Laws by advising staff on programming questions/issues regarding SAS and other computer software applications related to AD/CVD cases.
- Maintaining certain SAS programs (e.g., AD market and non-market economy SAS programs, data integrity, etc.) used in the conduct of AD/CVD proceedings.

- Designing and implementing Statistical Analysis Systems (SAS) programs used in Anti-Dumping calculations so a strong level of computer programming logic skills and SAS programming experience is required
- Translating requirements from various parts of the organization and selecting the appropriate statistical analysis to produce relevant results
- Independently researching, analyzing, and interpreting statistical data and information, and communicate sound recommendations with respect to case handling actions and decisions
- Meeting internal and statutory/regulatory case deadlines
