This position is contingent upon contract award. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The Alternate Program Manager will have overall responsibility for the performance of all work, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and escalation of requests or service orders from the contractor's staff. The Alternate Program Manager will have overall responsibility and oversight authority for all In-House staff, subcontractors and their personnel. EMCOR shall maintain 24-hour telephone access to the Alternate Program Manager The. Alternate Program Manager shall be available to respond to all government requests by telephone within 30 minutes during normal business hours and within two hours after normal business hours. Should the situation require an on-site presence, the Alternate Program Manager shall be available within 24 hours anywhere within the Continental United States to meet at the relevant facility with government personnel to review the situation. For locations covered by the contract that are outside the Continental United States, the Alternate Program Manager shall be available on-site within a reasonable time, where required, using all appropriate diligence. Qualifications: At least five years of project management of a similar contract with multiple locations across a large (more than 250 square miles) geographic areaEducation to include technical or college education in business, engineering, engineering technology, or project management; and certificate or technical training in construction, mechanical, or related field, such as electrical, air conditioning, plumbing, carpentry, or constructionExperience with facility maintenance or repair contracts, scheduling, cost control and risk managementEffective communication skills, strong leadership skills, and technical experienceWe offer our employees a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package and are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
