LMI is a not-for-profit government consulting firm, dedicated exclusively to advancing the management of our government. We are currently seeking a Junior Human Resources Business Partner (Jr. HRBP) based out of our Tysons, VA headquarter. This role will report to our Director, HRBP.The Jr. HRBP role is both a strategic and hands on role that will partner with their client groups to deliver talent needs and drive organizational performance. The successful candidate must be able to understand business goals and recommend new approaches while applying LMI policies and procedures to drive continual improvements, productivity and development of HR within the company. This position will also be responsible for driving people and culture projects in creating the best employee experience and will develop new solutions for our HR challenges. A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the 'pulse' of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement is required. Responsibilities Partner with business leaders to drive cross-collaboration initiatives and programs that build and advance the Enterprise Services (includes; Human Resources, Finance, Legal, Communications, Business Development and Strategy) talent pipeline.Review and analyze business metrics including data on retention and employee experience to align with LMI's employee value proposition.Work with business and HR centers of expertise (COE's) to assess, create, and implement innovative solutions for a variety of employee engagement initiatives within the client group.Partner with senior management and the HR team to diagnose business needs and implement solutions to continually improve organizational performance. Serve as a liaison between HR COE's and client groups and assist with implementation of initiatives and projects initiated by the enterprise. Leverage support from the COE's in the HR service delivery to their client group.Have passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field. 2+ years of experience in progressive HR leadership roles with broad knowledge and experience as an HRBP.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology and/or an MBA.Self-starter, able to handle ambiguity with a strong drive to deliver results.Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.Demonstrated experience in coaching, managing, and influencing leaders at multiple levels in a matrixed environment while building effective relationships to influence decisions. Broad HR expertise, strong business acumen, and be able to think big-picture and be resourceful in creating solutions.
