Responsibilities We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to work on a part time basis. Positions are based in a busy Newborn Nursery / NICU setting at our Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, VA. This part time position will enable the right person to work up to 26 hours per week. Schedules will be determined a month in advance and may include some weekends/holidays. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS PART TIME POSITION: Perform newborn hearing screening on all infants in the nursery and NICU prior to discharge from the Provide screening results to parents. Maintain and use hearing screen equipment. Qualifications Successful candidates must have the following Education and Experience in order to be considered: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 1 or more years of healthcare related experience. Able to work part time up to 26 hours a week. Be customer service Possess basic computer skills. Have the ability to learn and operate hearing screen Possess strong organizational skills and be highly attentive to Communicate and work well independently as well as in a team BLS/CPR Certification - Company will provide upon the agreement of job offer.
