Main functions of this position: * Optimize, implement, and successfully manage production efficiency * Manage the day to day activities of the manufacturing process, assuring safety while also improving on quality control * Manage and oversee the employment and training of production staff * Analyze and implement process flow improvements, including capabilities for growth Client Details We have more than 30 years of experience manufacturing windows and doors, and we've received recognition from industry experts such as Window & Door Magazine , ENERGY STAR(R), and the American Architectural Manufacturers Association. Description Major Responsibilities: * To efficiently manage and direct the daily production activities * Maintain and improve process efficiency (automate stations, improve plant layout) and quality control * To directly oversee and manage two Production Managers * Recommend and implement optimal production solutions and machinery / equipment needs or acquisitions * Manage production personnel; work allocation, training, and problem resolution * Evaluate employee performance and motivate in order to achieve maximum productivity output * Oversee and implement new products or improved product design * Maintain a proactive machinery and equipment maintenance program * Conduct and re-evaluate time studies for production processes * Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly, Management reporting * Ensuring accountability and timeliness from Factory staff will be a key Profile Qualified Candidates will possess the following: * 7+ years of experience in manufacturing (custom fabricated product experience is a plus) * Prior experience supervising a team * Ability to work independently with limited direction and guidance * Ability to multitask * High level of organization is critical * Ensuring accountability and timeliness from Factory staff Job Offer Our client offers excellent compensation and benefits programs, including medical, dental, and life insurances, 401(k) retirement and bonus plans, and vacation breaks that offer you and your family a healthy work-life balance.
