We are seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Service Delivery Manager interested in joining our team in Washington, DC and exploring an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems. The Service Deliver Manager provides team leadership and creativity in the development and implementation of services engagements. Manages multiple projects or sub-projects. Manages the development and integration of entire project(s). Delivers consistently high value, 'client ready' work with minimum supervision. Performs the role of primary interface with the client -- communicates deliverables, conducts client meetings, obtains required client sign off and specifications, client acceptance and billing. Achieves the baseline metrics for assigned project(s). Manages and leads medium to large work teams (25 to 50 consultants and managers). Sets objectives and priorities for the project staff. Assigns and reviews tasks, assesses and coaches performance of employees, and manages staffing requirements. Mentors staff including project managers and consultants. Actively generates and participates in the development of new services business opportunities that result in profitable revenue growth. Negotiates contracts with clients and 3rd party suppliers. Project Management and Service Delivery: * Uses strong project management skills and delivery methodologies to lead the delivery of projects or sub-projects within planned timelines, budget, margins and quality specifications. * Manages the development and integration of the entire project(s). Consistently delivers high value, 'client ready' work, including communications and presentations, with minimal supervision. * Able to discuss with customers regarding statements of work so that both the client and Unisys staff understands the project expectations and roles. * Proactively reports project risk and deliverable issues to superiors for assistance as soon as possible. * Establishes and manages the project plan (development, delivery schedule, resource requirements, 3rd parties, cost budget methodology, tools, standards and quality). * Uses appropriate methodologies (such as risk mitigation/management, change/control management and contract management) to manage major projects or a group of projects. * Applies business process redesign and/or information planning methodologies to client business problems. Combines knowledge of business process redesign and/or information planning methodologies with a deep knowledge of their domain and/or solution to sell, design and deliver a full range of solutions. * Leads or supports the implementation of change management, business process redesign or information planning. Business Development and Client Relationship Management * Generates and actively participates in new business opportunities that result in profitable revenue growth within the client. Identifies opportunities for follow-on business that brings additional value to the client, including: additional services engagements; increasing Unisys chargeable hours; creating change orders when additional work required is outside the original contracted scope of the project and/or services proposal activity in Unisys portfolio areas. * Develops strong client relationships and performs the role of primary interface with the client. Interfaces with client's technical executives to understand their business challenges and recommend innovative integrated business solutions. * Communicates deliverables, conducts client meetings, obtains required client sign off and specifications, client acceptance and billing. * Interfaces with the client's technical executives to understand their business challenges. Uses this information and their expertise to recommend innovative integrated business solutions for client/ prospect organizations. * Manages the performance of internal and external service providers in order to ensure the implementation of deliverables and resulting client satisfaction. Interfaces with sub-contractors. People Management: * Manages project work teams and the development and integration of project deliverables. * Sets objectives and priorities, assigns and reviews tasks, performance and staffing requirements. * Staffs projects and maintains the resource plan. * Provides mentoring, development and performance feedback to team members. Business, Industry and Technical Skills: * Functions as an expert in one domain and/or solution set within an industry or organization and uses that knowledge to generate profitable revenue growth for Unisys. Has the knowledge of all areas to determine how the particular solution fits into the client's business. * Recognized by others for their insight into many technical domains and may present papers to conferences or put together presentations for client groups on the critical trends and directions within their domain area. * Establishes and maintains relationships with industry trade associations, regulatory organizations and key industry executives. ations and key industry executives. Requirements Key Qualifications: Must Haves: * Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of professional services practice experience managing more complex projects within an organization's IT Organization. * Program/Project management experience in a Mid-Tier Organization * University degree or equivalent education or experience. * Successfully completed PMI or IPMA professional PMP certification. * Training in the practical application of business process redesign, change management and information planning tools and methodologies. * Using business process redesign, change management and information planning tools and methodologies to identify new business opportunities. * Successful track record of engagement capture and client relationship management. * Supported enterprise level technology refresh and roll-out of end-user services to Mid-Tier organization (5000-10000K devices, x users) * Day to day operations of an IT Organization, which include - End-User Services, Data Center, Network Engineering Services, and Enterprise Level Application Services * Support nationwide and regional office IT Operations services and solutions in a common service delivery approach * Support multi-contractor environment, while providing unified transparency to all stakeholders * Support nationwide and regional office IT Operations services and solutions in a common service delivery approach * Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Public Trust. * ITIL Certification * Lead Roll-outs and has experience in applications transformation with solutions as Exchange, Skype, SharePoint and Office 365 * IT Operations experience with background or focus in ITSM o Enterprise Level IT Operations, which include End-User support, Data Center Management, Network Operations, and Enterprise Level Application Services o Support IT Operations at a nationwide & field office level * Public Cloud experience * Has experience in a development and operational (DevOps) support environment Nice to Have: * Experience building relationships with Mission Leaders, Regional Directors, and HQ C Level executives * Support transitions in IT Operations from government owned to outsourced service and/or managed services. * DOJ Experience is desired in sub agencies such as FBI, USMS, ATF, DEA, or similar types of government IT organization such as GSA, DHS, USDA, etc. * Federal Law Enforcement experience is a plus * Other agency clearances with HPDS 12 or greater a plus.
