We specialize in building data analytics for state and local governments. We have been recognized by Splunk as thought leaders in transportation and education systems. If you are passionate about developing new ways to leverage big data in public sector entities, then Skyline is the place for you. Core Responsibilities: Perform Splunk Consulting Work with customers to understand their data sources and business challenges. Architect solutions to provide meaningful metrics around client data. Design, build and maintain Splunk infrastructures. Develop custom applications for handling a variety of data sources. Perform configurations to conform data sources to Splunk Common Information Models. Build meaningful dashboards to provide customers with insights into their data. Perform both on-site and remote support of Splunk environments. Provide documentation and end user training as needed. Development of Splunk Opportunities Identify and develop use cases that our Business Development team can showcase to prospective customers. Participate in the business development process to ensure that a steady and increasing backlog of work is available. Provide feedback on our sales proposals, demos, marketing material, and pricing to improve our sales effectiveness. Participate in sales and training activities with Skyline staff. Personal Growth and Development Maintain current Splunk Certifications. Obtain and maintain industry certifications related to role, including CISSP, RHCSE, Tenable, Palo Alto, and Juniper. Participate in learn - teach - learn opportunities with the InfoSec team and other teams that utilize Splunk. Attend Splunk events for personal development and networking opportunities. Qualifications PROFESSIONAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Verbal Communication Written Communication Organizational Skills Technical Research ITIL Certification preferred EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 2-3 years building and administering Splunk deployments 2-5 years IT operations background 1-2 years of cloud compute technology (AWS, Azure) preferred Batchelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems or related area preferred Experience in working with a variety of Linux and Windows Server environments Splunk Certified Enterprise Architect (preferred) of Splunk Certified Architect I and II 2 years' experience using an IT Service Management (ITSM) such as Service Now, ConnectWise, Remedy #CB
