Position Description We are seeking a Trainer/Training Developer responsible for hands-on training/instruction, as well as development of training support products and material for a prototype IT web-based application system development program for a DoD customer. The candidate should have an IT system training background and understanding and experience with training life-cycle development from requirements gathering though deployment of software solutions. The individual must be a self-starter who can work independently and will also work within a larger team environment. We are seeking a candidate possessing an understanding of system user functions and tasks. The prototype system is targeted for strategic level (COCOM, OSD and Joint Staff) military planners, and supports plan creation (OPLANs, CONPLANs, etc.) Key responsibilities include: Providing instructional/classroom training on prototype system; eliciting user feedback and communicating/translating for requirements, testing, and software developer groups; creating/updating testing artifacts, and building and updating test cases to align to existing requirements. Mandatory Qualifications (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills) ' 5 years of Training experience (developing training material and delivering) ' Familiarity with Military Planning ' Ability to create test plans, create test cases, create test scripts, track test results and create test reports. ' Proficient with using test tools to perform various types of testing ' Proficient with software testing methodologies and techniques, such as front-end functional testing, system integration testing, performance and load testing ' Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail ' Excellent communications skills ' Bachelor's Degree Desired Qualifications (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills) ' Experience working with the Federal Government, preferably DoD ' Experience with Training on Army Systems ' Experience working with large system implementations ' Experience in a Geospatial environment ** This position requires an active DoD Secret or higher security clearance.
