RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client in Columbia, Maryland (MD) that is seeking a Lead EPM Developer to join their team. Responsibilities: Lead architecture efforts in both the EPM and BI areas with the goal of designing and implementing new applications using best practices and finding ways to improve existing ones working cross-functionally with multiple teams Lead and support development team in all planning/Essbase application development including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for other teams (up to 50% of time on development) Work closely with business users gathering and analyzing requirements; Scope projects, identify & implement process improvements to support a more efficient financial analysis while facilitating the SDLC process Develop solution architecture and prepare technical design documents; Communicate the architecture, internally and to our business partners Provide user support for all users worldwide on the planning/Essbase systems; Collaborate with the team on their annual budget process and help supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes throughout the year Lead and mentor junior staff REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors' degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or related field 8+ years of relevant hands-on experience implementing Hyperion Planning and Essbase BSO/ASO, with minimum of 5 years development experience Extensive experience in developing Planning/Essbase calculation scripts, building load rules, metadata and data management, MDX, MAXL, Smart View. Minimum of 4 years with calc scripts Advanced/Good Hyperion Financial Reporting Experience in OBIEE or DV Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, attention to detail and interpersonal skills, comfortable dealing with a wide range of customers Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment and keep management adequately informed Demonstrated ability to understand and troubleshoot complex technical problems Good understanding of corporate financial planning, reporting & analysis, and costing/profitability methodologies and processes Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
