Job Number: R0056821 Security Architecture Lead Key Role: Work as a security architecture team lead responsible for managing security engineering reviews and applying architectural design best practices to systems and system components, including networking and computing, enclave environments, and differing data protection or classification requirements to support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) or other organizational goals. Evaluate IT threats and vulnerabilities to determine whether additional safeguards are needed, including leveraging expertise in various technologies and network boundaries that affect security controls and assessing risk. Use critical thinking to evaluate system and network designs and propose alternatives to maintain a balance of security and mission needs. Demonstrate comprehension of border and network security, including firewall, VLANs, VRFs, IP Subnetting, IDS, and ports or protocols. Author te chn ical documentation and briefings to convey Cybersecurity concepts to a range of audiences, including senior leaders. Apply expertise in researching and interpreting DoD documentation, including DoD security technical implementation guides (STIGs), security requirements guides (SRGs), DoD issuances, such as directives and instructions, Risk Assessment Methodology (RAM), and DoD orders. Demonstrate expertise in systems engineering or enterprise operations, including technologies, such as operating systems, databases, Web servers and Web applications, firewalls, or identity management. Basic Qualifications: -7+ years of experience in a Cybersecurity field -5+ years of experience with IT program or project management -4+ years of experience with detailed design, installation, and configuration of IT systems and networks in accordance with the DoD Cybersecurity policies and STIGs, including the configuration and use of security products -4+ years of experience with performing IT application, system, and network project reviews and providing technical and policy DoD Cybersecurity guidance -Experience with Cybersecurity service provider (CSSP) assessments -Experience with delivering large and complex projects on time and within budget in DoD organizations -TS/SCI clearance -BS degree -DoD 8570 IAM III Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
